Our Story
Mwezi Blu is a start up jewellery brand with its beginnings happening under the most bizarre circumstances. Life gives you signs to be brave and take a leap of faith. These signs lead to Mwezi Blu, a brand meant to be, born under the most iconic of full moons - September's Harvest Moon.
Based in The South Luangwa Valley, Zambia, Mwezi Blu's team connects with other local creative artisans. With the combined experience in jewellery making, design, fashion, armed with the love for creativity and craftsmanship, our brand is firmly rooted in Africa and its abundance of creativity.

The goal is and always will be to create exceptional jewellery pieces that carry a passion for jewellery, skill, and Africa. With a focus on sustainability, job creation, skill sharing and ethical sourcing of handcrafted materials, each and every piece will always be truly unique.
Mwezi Blu is not only about jewellery. It is about empowering our local community.
With our focus on sustainability, a jewellery school will also begin alongside our workshop. With specialised training in metalsmithing, gemmology, design, and jewellery making to provide and grow employment opportunities in this rural part of the country.
This is a first of its kind in Zambia, and as artisans graduate Mwezi Blu will celebrate these students, who have become masters of their craft by collaborating with them to create beautiful jewellery and showcase the diverse collection of gemstones that Zambia has to offers.
