The Kuwa Collection began with a word.
Derived from the Nyanja word Kuwala, meaning brightness or light, Kuwa reflects the essence of what this collection embodies. Light that is formed over time. Light that belongs to the land it comes from.
Created in South Luangwa, the Kuwa Collection is a celebration of Zambia. Its landscapes. Its materials and its craftsmanship.
A CELEBRATION OF ZAMBIAN GEMSTONES
Zambia is home to some of the world’s most remarkable gemstones. Formed within its soil over generations, each stone carries its own depth, inclusions and character.
In the Kuwa Collection, the gemstone comes first.
No two pieces are alike because no two gemstones are alike. We do not design and then select a stone to fit. Instead, we create each piece around the individual gemstone, allowing its natural qualities to guide the final form.
The intention is simple. To let the stone be fully seen.
The settings are refined and considered, never overpowering. The brilliance belongs to the gemstone itself.
CRAFTED IN ZAMBIAN GOLD
Every piece in the Kuwa Collection is crafted in Zambian gold, sourced just five hours from Mfuwe in South Luangwa from trusted small scale miners.
The gold is responsibly sourced, refined in house and shaped in our South Luangwa bush workshop by our jewellers. This connection to origin allows us to maintain integrity at every stage, from raw material to finished piece.
